I am a professional vocalist. My credentials include teaching voice in universities and stage roles in musicals. Standard vocal exercises on this app are demonstrated with poor intonation (out of tune) and sloppy vocal technique -- not a good model for a student to listen to or emulate. It was disheartening to listen to: the model singer needs some coaching! Each vocal exercise is claimed to be specially suited to a unique purpose such as "increasing power" or "warm-up for a recording" when in fact all of the vocal exercises are just basic warm-ups that all obtain the same result: help your vocal production if done correctly and hurt your vocal production (even to the extent of damaging your vocal chords) if done incorrectly. A singers best route would be to listen constantly to recorded performances recommended by your voice teacher or choir director and take lessons from a teacher with successful students.
